Domination is what beats your competition!
What is Domain Authority
Domain Authority (DA) is a website metric developed by Moz. It is one of the most important numbers known to digital marketing agencies. Increasing your Domain Authority loosely means increasing your chances of ranking higher in search engines.
It’s also important to note that the Domain Authority metric is almost entirely dependent on the backlinks with do follow commands pointing to your site. So, what helps the most to increase your site’s Domain Authority is to acquire backlinks from websites that already have high Domain Authority.
Social media links, blogging (in the right place), PR releases, citations (business listings on business directories (with all of the same information) build your domain credibility with Google. Include an SSL Certificate on your website will increase your domain and page authority.
Since we have been in the digital marketing industry since 2001, we learned all of the above techniques as well as a few tricks up our sleeve. Just say we have our trade secrets.
What is Page Authority
Page authority is an SEO term used to describe the probability that a specific webpage from your website will be found on a search engine. Page authority is based on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100 and deals with the relevance of information and links within website pages to one another.
Note that page authority is related to the pages within the website, not the website itself, that falls under the domain authority.
Inner linking within your website is important as well as linking to different pages from other websites. Here is the catcher! You have to be careful on where you allow links to be added. You do not want links going to your website from link farms. Google started punishing websites for that a long time ago.
It is a slow tedious process but it can be done with the right professionals.
